Grilled Cheesy Stuffed Peppers
If you like peppers, and you love to grill, this Cheesy Stuffed Pepper recipe may just be one you will want to try!
I grilled these tonight on my Weber Kettle Grill that I bought from Amazon (I LOVE this grill BTW) and they turned out AMAZING! Juicy, cheesy, and with incredible flavor as well!
While my wife Tancy mixed up her Cheesy Stuffed Recipe I got the grill prepped and ready to go. I always use my Weber Rapidfire Chimney Starter and these Easy Fire Starter Cubes to get the charcoal hot and ready to grill. These cubes eliminate the need for lighter fluid, and make it a breeze to get your grill up and going quickly and efficiently.
~ Cheesy Stuffed Peppers
1 -8 oz pkg cream cheese
3 oz shredded cheddar cheese
1/2 tsp worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp onion powder
1/4 tsp garlic powder
2 oz real bacon bits
You can use any pepper you like, but we used multi-colored, small sweet peppers Tancy found at a local produce market.
Simply cut the peppers length wise, clean out the center, and stuff each one. You can also cut off the top, clean it out, and have a whole stuffed pepper if you like.
You will want to heat the grill 350 – 375 degrees, and place the peppers on for 4 – 5 minutes, depending on your taste and how crunchy you want the peppers to be. The longer you leave the peppers on, the more crunch they lose.
These can also be eaten raw, as the cheesy stuffing is safe to eat by itself as well. I prefer them grilled though!
If you decide to try these, let me know what you think!
